Chief Administrative Officer (CAO)
Stefanie was born and raised in Germany. After living and working in several countries, she settled in Truckee in 2007. She spent 15 years managing a local hotel and restaurant, where she developed a strong foundation in all aspects of business administration, including human resources, payroll, financial management, operations, and day-to-day business functions. This experience provided her with a broad understanding of the many components required to successfully operate and manage a business.
Stefanie joined the MWA, Inc. team in 2022, bringing her diverse background and operational expertise to support the firm’s administrative, HR, and organizational needs.
Outside of work, Stefanie enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, biking, paddleboarding, snowboarding, backpacking and exploring the Tahoe area with her beloved Mountain Chihuahua, Tuco, by her side.

When I hired MWA as my architectural and design firm for my residential remodel in Nevada City, California, I couldn’t believe how efficient your company was in both guiding the project to a very quick permitting process, but more importantly a superb design concept. Working with you and Kurt Reinkens was a total gift for me. First of all, our many meetings were so efficiently handled from both the detail of setting the agendas, to your suggestions, notes, photos, and summaries of the sessions by the next day. Your talents and skillsets really kept the design process right on track! Also, I was amazed at your computer and internet shopping skills regarding all of the many choices such as Fergusons lighting, appliances, Kitchen and bath fixtures, granite choices, etc. In every case you made my shopping (and I really don’t like to shop much) efficient and rewarding. You not only designed our work flow charts accurately but you made the difference in
keeping us stress free on the timeline you created for the job. What a pleasure working with a very smart and together professional!
