Chief Administrative Officer (CAO)
Stefanie was born and raised in Germany. After living and working in several countries, she settled in Truckee in 2007. She spent 15 years managing a local hotel and restaurant, where she developed a strong foundation in all aspects of business administration, including human resources, payroll, financial management, operations, and day-to-day business functions. This experience provided her with a broad understanding of the many components required to successfully operate and manage a business.
Stefanie joined the MWA, Inc. team in 2022, bringing her diverse background and operational expertise to support the firm’s administrative, HR, and organizational needs.
Outside of work, Stefanie enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, biking, paddleboarding, snowboarding, backpacking and exploring the Tahoe area with her beloved Mountain Chihuahua, Tuco, by her side.

Kurt Reinkens and MWA designed my commercial building in downtown truckee after an explosion destroyed the historic building. Kurt delivered a building that fit nicely in old downtown truckee and the construction project came in on time and on budget. It does not get any better than that.
I was legal counsel to the design review committee of the Lahontan subdivision in Truckee during its first five years and as such saw all of the projects that came before the committee for review and approval.
