Mountain Modern or Contemporary

Mountain Modern style designs are a fusion of contemporary, modern, or industrial styles with Cabin/ Rustic, Lodge, Craftsman, or Traditional/ Transitional style. This style features a mix of metals and woods, interesting use or reuse of materials, clean lines, and dramatic architectural details.

Contemporary style designs are the opposite of classic with smooth profiles instead of ornament. This style features bold and popular designs, sleek kitchens, mixed and matched textures, open space and natural light.

Kurt Reinkens and his team at MWA designed our spectacular home in Martis Camp. They worked closely with us in creating a floor plan that was extremely functional and well suited for entertaining. They were masters at studying the topography of our large two acre site, and designed the home to take advantage of the views, privacy and curb appeal. The unique architecture was a perfectly executed balance of mountain architecture with a modern flair.
